Goldman Sachs (NYSE: GS) must be feeling the heat as recent economic developments haven't generated much-needed optmism. The times, when the company was at the top of the mountain have ended. I do not own shares in Goldman Sachs (NYSE: GS) and I am not a client of the world's largest investment bank. But I have my own opinion about this company. Have a comfortable seat.
Fraudsters, like those annoying little bugs live everywhere. Even in an institution, which is supposed to tackle all kinds of fraudsters. A FINRA board member has been charged with fraud and other securities violations.
Shares of New York Stock Exchange listed Friedman Billings and Ramsey (NYSE:FBR) have lost 22% of their value in less than 3 trading sessions. Countrywide (NYSE:CFC) and Thornburg Mortgage (NYSE:TMA) share prices are also underwater for the week.
I know that there are some really rude fraudsters out there just waiting for a chance to swindle you. But this really hit home when I heard that a stockbroker had deceived even his own grandmother. I just can imagine what a childhood he must have had if he now rips-off his own relative.
